Digging Reading is a 13-week curriculum geared toward students in grades 4 and 5, designed to teach nine reading strategies that will help students better understand, learn, and remember what they read. Teacher Materials (Teacher’s Guide, instructional DVD, posters, and transparencies) as well as Student Materials (activity books, quizzes, and tests) are included. In five units, students learn reading strategies and practice them through activities and the interactive reading of four trade books, which need to be purchased separately.
